History in these streets - In the summer of 2011, the Bay Area Video Coalition’s Factory filmmaking program for teenagers partnered with the Mozilla Foundation and four Bay Area non-profit organizations to create web-native social-justice video projects. A web-native video is a story that can only be experienced fully on the Internet. It takes advantage of the Internet’s capacity for engagement and connectivity to create an experience that allows the viewer/user a heightened degree of control and interactivity.
These projects were made possible through Popcorn Maker, an open source tool by Mozilla. Popcorn Maker is a program that allows filmmakers with only a minimal grasp of HTML to integrate the limitless resources of the Internet into new film experiences.

Summer Under the Stars is an annual event on Turner Classic Movies held throughout the month of August where the feature films of a different star are presented each day. Illustrator Michael Schwab created custom illustrations for each star. His illustrations served as the primary imagery and the secondary nav (the main nav is a dignified footer consisting of the dates of the month in Clarendon); clicking on the image leads to a full view of the schedule for the star and in-depth content including background, video clips and photos.
